Endoscopy Procedures

These are procedures in which the inside of the intestines is examined through an instrument that pipes light through the lumen. Endoscopy is commonly used to evaluate gastrointestinal symptoms, such as stomach abdominal pain, ulcer, indigestion, intestinal bleeding, heamorrhoids or changes in bowel habits. During this procedure, tissue sample are usually taken for further analysis. For each test, a period of about 1 to 2 days is required to prepare the bowels before the test is performed. Therefore, patients need to book a day or two before the test can be performed.
Laparoscopy & Dye Test
Laparoscopy is a diagnostic procedure used to examine the organs inside the abdomen. It’s a low-risk, minimally invasive procedure that requires only small incisions. We conduct day or office laparoscopy for diagnostic purposes, on referral, at some of our locations. Clients coming for laparoscopy must be accompanied by a responsible adult or relative.
Bronchoscopy
This procedure is performed using an instrument that pipes light through the nose into the air passages or bronchial tree to see their linings and visualize any anomalies that may be present.
Cystoscopy & Histology
When surgical operations or endoscopic procedures are performed, samples of tissues are taken to examine the cells. Such examinations are commonly done to look for the presence of cancer and other diseases.
